Voost Goes Mobile

SAN FRANCISCO – In constant pursuit of its mission to create the the most convenient and low-cost bike racing registration system, Voost has now launched a new fully mobilized version of its online registration platform.

The improved website now responds to any size screen, from mobile phones to tablets to large monitors, to create the best possible mobile registration experience regardless of what screen you are looking at.

More and more users are accessing the web from mobile devices each day. Nearly 22% of the Voost page views now come from mobile devices. Of that, 50% come from the iPhone and 25% from an iPad. The new and improved Voost allows athletes and event organizers to access the system from their favorite device. Athletes can easily register for a race on their phone, and event organizers can manage the details of their event or receive real time stats from anywhere.

We created this system because I was cursing ‘convenience’ fees and difficulty registering for a race. I wanted to use my software development skills and background in racing to bring the best of Silicon Valley to cycling, and this is a big step towards that goal. We have electronic shifting on our bikes now, why can’t we have a registration service that works as easily?” says Jon Stevens, co-founder of Voost.

The cost to use the improved Voost will remain at the same low transparent fee.
