Location


Registration is on private property on Curie Rd, near Hwy 12 and the city of Rio Vista, 20 miles east of Fairfield and 40 miles south of Sacramento. Start/Finish on Anderson Road by Emigh Ave.

Special notes


  • Teams are two persons except as noted. 
  • Prices are per-rider; each rider must register. 
  • To sign up and pay for your partner(s), just click the 'Add a friend?' button on the register page
  • Show proof of racing category. Use highest category on team.
  • Gear restrictions apply for all juniors regardless of category.
  • Four person teams are open to all categories & ages. Time stops when 3rd rider finishes.
  • Five dollars of every entry goes directly to H.A.L.O.
  • Total number of teams in all categories combined is 150.

Opens at 7:00am and closes at 8:00 am. Numbers and course details are given then. Teams start 60 seconds apart at 8:15 am, in order listed on the flyer. DON’T MISS START! Use porta potties. Pick up trash!

Results


Posted by registration and at usacycling.org. After last rider finishes and 15 minute protest period, awards will be given. Unclaimed prizes will go to H.A.L.O. Special prize award to the fastest two person team.

Course Description

14 mile out and back on good pavement open to very sparse traffic on rural road with several big ring hills. Teams start on Anderson Road, about ½ mile from registration, turn right on Montezuma Hills Road, to the turnaround ~ ½ mile from Bird’s Landing Road, return and turn left on Anderson Road to hilltop finish. Driving Directions

From I-5: Hwy 12 west * past Rio Vista bridge. After about 6 miles, turn left onto Currie Road.

From I-80: Exit Hwy 12 east, go past 113 about 2 miles and turn right onto Currie Road. Go south on Currie & after 2 miles follow signs to race parking. Also via westbound Emigh Ave off of Montezuma Hills Road.

From Antioch/Highway 4, take Hwy 160 North (over toll bridge) about 12 miles. Turn left at Hwy 12, continue * above.
